ATTENTION!
Submission of lectures from March 7th to March 29th, 2019
The track grid is already defined and we opened the Call4Papers for the TDC 2019 Belo Horizonte. Submit your lectures and indicate to your friends and also to your co-workers!
We separated some tips that Yara Senger left on the blog Globalcoders, in case you have not yet seen:
- Analyze the grid of lectures from previous editions and invest time in the choice of topic and title
- Take it seriously: Ask your friends to do a critical reading of the text and of course a good spelling check and write a legal description of the speech, not just a line.
- Mini biography consistent with the talk theme: Try to send a mini biography that is coherent with the submitted lecture. Picking up that mini biography that you wear for 5 years and is out of date reduces your chances of winning!
- Be creative and not bluff. Submit lectures on subjects that you have knowledge and experience. So we will have a better event for everyone.
The most important step to be approved as a speaker is to submit at least one lecture. So, regardless of anything, participate, take a risk, disseminate.
New TDC Call4Papers system
If you are already a lecturer or would like to speak then we have a novelty, we are using an open source project developed by the Devoxx team! Kleber Xavier and Ana Abrantes worked on the customizations, but you are a developer and you know how it is? Isn’t it? We may have surprises and we count on your cooperation and patience, if you have any problems report sending an email to cfp@thedevelopersconference.com.br.
